MEASURING GUIDE
Finery uses true sizing vs. vanity sizing. Vanity sizing has unfortunately become the industry standard in retail, which is a very misleading practice nowhere near one’s true size. Our sizes are based off actual measurements. Here are some pointers to help you order the correct size for your staff.
NECK
Measure around the base of your neck, keeping one finger between your neck and the tape measure to ensure an accurate fit.
CHEST/BUST
Hang arms loosely at your side and measure around your body, crossing over the fullest part of your chest.
SLEEVE
Hang arms loosely at your side and measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist.
WAIST
Measure around your waist at the belt line. Keep one finger between the tape and your body to ensure an accurate fit. Don’t be shocked when this measurement does not match up with what you’ve been buying at the store!
HIP
Measure around the fullest part of your hip. Keep one finger between your hip and the tape measure to ensure an accurate fit.
INSEAM
Wearing pants that sit how you wear them, measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
